Water Damaged West Hollywood Ceiling

The steady drip of water from the line in the attic finally ruined a section of this West Hollywood ceiling. Hanging insulation and saturated drywall was removed to expose the water-damaged areas for treatment. The After Photo depicts how our SERVPRO technicians isolated the attic from the remainder of the kitchen. We placed dehumidifiers to dry the excess moisture in the attic, venting the moist air to the exterior via a flex duct. After verifying that the crawlspace was dry using an infrared camera to seek out variations in temperature caused by pockets of moisture, we documented the findings for our customer's insurance company.
